The Range Rover Sport is one of the most popular models from Land Rover - The first Range Rover Sport was introduced in 2005 and was replaced by the second generation Range Rover Sport in 2013. Based on the Range Rover Stormer concept car, the Range Rover Sport was designed for both on road and off road use, it was crammed with all of Land Rovers off road goodies, but also designed and optimised for a sporty performance on road. A range of engine and trim levels are available with the Range Rover Sport, from entry level diesel engines which provide spirited performance, right across to the Range Rover Sport SVR, with it’s supercharged V8 engine. The Range Rover Sport is a pretty unique vehicle, but it does still have some stiff competition - especially from the German car manufacturers, such as the BMW X5 and the Mercedes ML.
