The Phaeton is one of the most impressive cars in the world, when it was designed by Ferdinand Piech who ran VW - he wanted to take down and target the most luxurious vehicles in the world. A rare sight on UK roads, the Phaeton was introduced in 2002 and the vehicle is a real wolf in sheep's clothing - sharing the same platform as the Bentley Continental, and the Bentley Continental GT Flying Spur. The interior of the car is also incredibly luxurious, there’s plenty of wood, the finest leather, climate control, 18 way adjustable seats, air conditioned massage seats. The engine was also incredibly powerful - with the top of the range petrol engine being a W12 which produced 420bhp.
