Whilst we have made every effort to ensure that the content of this website is as accurate as possible we do not guarantee the content will be free of errors. To the fullest extent permitted at law we shall not be liable for any kind of loss or damage from action taken or reliance placed on information contained on the site.
Any order for goods placed by you, the buyer through our website shall be subject to these terms and conditions. All other terms and conditions express or implied by statute or otherwise are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under any applicable law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded.
We must receive payment for the total price of the goods that you order before your order can be processed. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the despatch to you of the goods ordered.
Delivery charges are indicated during your checkout process and included in the final order cost. If additional charges are warranted, for example delivery to remote locations, we will contact you to confirm and arrange additional payment if acceptable.
Orders are usually despatched for delivery within 5 - 10 working days (This does not include Saturday and Sundays), although we do endeavour to ship all orders promptly. Sometimes this estimate will vary depending on holiday periods, industrial action by the courier or adverse weather conditions. Please contact us if you want to make enquiries about any orders you are expecting.
Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery.
Goods delivered by courier should arrive between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction. If the packaging damaged please sign for it , clearly stating 'received damaged’
All products are covered by a full manufacturers warranty, the period of which varies according to the product. The warranty period starts from the date of purchase.
The warranty covers faults, which may occur due to faulty materials or workmanship but excludes fair wear and tear or defects caused by misuse.
If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us by email or in writing at our contact address within 7 days. If you notify a problem to us under this condition, our only obligation will be:
- To make good any shortage or non-delivery;
- To repair or replace any goods that are damaged or defective; or
- If repair to or replacement of the goods is not possible, or the cost of repair or replacement is disproportionate in the circumstances, to give you a partial or full refund for the goods in question, depending on what is reasonable in the circumstances.
Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation.
Simply Car Mats work in partnership with Sage Pay to ensure all information you give us during the order process is encrypted before transmission via the World Wide Web. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all information contained herein. We make no warranty expressed or implied with respect to accuracy of the information, including price, product editorials or product specifications. We shall not be liable for incidental, consequential or special damages arising from, or as a result of, any electronic transmission or the accuracy of the information contained herein, even if the company has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Product details are used only for the purpose of identification.
The prices shown are only applicable to purchases made via the Simply Car Mats Website. Prices on other outlets may vary to those shown on this website. Special offers and promotions advertised in the press or other media may be excluded unless specifically advertised as available online. All prices are correct at time of display online. In the unlikely event of an administrative error resulting in an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct the price. In these circumstances, you will not be bound to continue with your purchase, and will be asked to email us to confirm that you wish to proceed.
Cancellation of contract
You may cancel your contract with us for standard goods you order at any time up to the end of the seventh working day from the date you receive the ordered goods, which must be in writing or by e-mail.
If you have received the goods before you cancel your contract then, you must send the goods back unused and in their original packaging to the address specified by us, at your own cost and risk. If you cancel your contract but we have already processed the goods for delivery you must not unpack the goods when they are received by you and you must send the goods back to us at the address specified by us, at your own cost and risk as soon as possible.
You must request a returns request within 14 days of receiving your goods. A request to return products after this period may not be authorised.
Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum deducted by us for the products from your credit card, will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible provided that the goods in question are returned by you in the condition they were in when delivered to you. You should ensure that good are returned within 14 days of our returns authorisation. We regret that delivery charges where applicable are non-refundable. If you do not return the goods or pay the cost of return delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.
We cannot cancel orders for customised products once they have been paid for. Such orders are for products with non-default trim colour or embroidery. Such products are not covered by consumer contract regulations.
Orders that are returned to us without authorisation, or more than 14 days after authorisation, cannot be refunded. Our only course of action under these circumstances is to invoice you for re-delivery to your original address if you wish them returned to you.
We require evidence of any fault. Usually a photo by email is sufficient.
Should we deem the mats to be faulty we will send a replacement set to you at no additional charge and advise you on what do with the mats you have received.
If we deem the issue to be with the particular model of car which we cannot rectify then we may ask you to ship the mats back to us (at cost to the customer) and we will refund the cost of the mats and the shipping out fee
If we deem the mats not to be faulty and the issue purely speculative by the customer then the customer would need to follow our standard returns policy.
The goods can only be returned under the following conditions.
- The goods must be in a fully re-saleable state, being unopened with any original seals or shrink wrap in place.
- The goods must be returned at the customer's expense within 14 days of authorisation and the cost of the goods will be refunded.
- The goods must be with default options, that is with default trim and no embroidery. Default options are, black mats with black trim, grey mats with grey trim, beige mats with beige trim etc. Mats with custom trim, logos or embroidery are non-returnable.
Errors in ordering, should the customer order the wrong set of mats, colour or trim then the customer must notify us within 24 hours. If we received notification after this period we may have to charge to rectify the order or the customer may have to ship the mats back to us and pay an additional shipping charge for us to resend the mats out.
You will be under a duty to take reasonable care to see that returned goods are well packaged, so to avoid damage in transit. An appropriate method of return should be used. All goods are returned at your own cost.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
- We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered
- The product is no longer available
- We do not deliver to your area; or
- One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information.
If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment
